Built a pole for my 750sx

got bored of trying to find a cheaper option than the 1100$ custom ones. My background. Im a welder fab guy by trade it's right up my ally. Took about 2.5 hours to build. It's 4" shorter that stock. Need to figure out a chin pan.

IMG_0222.JPG I made one for my 650sx, the first one that I made bent where the steering bolt went through. I would suggest quenching the pole in water right after welding. It becomes anealed from the welding. Pm me if you need any more pics.

ok so @Flip3d and @my650sux do either of you have others for a 650sx to sell? one that'll fit into the existing bracket with the existing hardware? hard to do any custom work or fabricating with just basic tools. I have a ton of tools, but nothing like a drill press/angle grinder, etc. sawzalls and mitre saws don't work well with metals I bet. looking for a direct bolt on.. and as in the original @Flip3d post, not spending $1000 plus.

Mine is too. I promise it will be soft if you don't.

there is a guy with an eBay store who does custom
Kawi poles to any length that bolt right in he's out of florida I think there some in between 350-450$ he will turf a chin pad and powder coat them as well check it out

I have one but I had to modify the pole mount in order to use it. To be honest I was never completely happy with mine and I wouldn't sell it to you that way. I would need to work on it before selling it. If you're interested in the blue one pm me and we can talk about it. I'm not trying to jack flip3d's thread, that's why I didn't respond right away.

yes not looking to modify, etc. Thanks for being honest.

I saw the guy on eBay but found a bunch of reviews saying the pole didn't not fit that well but quality was great. I just decided to building it at that point.
