get out and ride
im installing my foothold right now just got both holes cut and holds fitted. rivetting and epoxying them tomorrow. and when done with footholds will be cutting my pole. Any work im doing to my ski is due to the BAD ACE teq threads on this site.

ive done plenty of nose stabs and subs. dont get me wrong, i love my ski. i was just venting.. BTW what does cutting the D out of the ride plate actually do?

lets the nose of the ski come up more

i tried searching for the quicksteer mod teq on here but couldnt find it. i noticed on my steering plate theres 3 holes and i saw people where adding brackets to the plate to extend it out.

the question i have is, at the nozzle, do i just drill a hole closer to the nozzle on the same bracket that its attached to right now?

You can do that, or yo can make up a little bracket that movies it closer too. I'll see if I can find some pics of the way I did mine.

Edit: can't find the pics. But, you can make a triangle bracket that moves the attachment point forwards and in towards the nozzle - that way you can get the maximum throw. You'll have to trim the sides of the turn nozzle to stop it from catching on the reduction nozzle.

i just drilled a hole closer in on the existing nozzle steering arm and it was free. also i used the very outside hole on the steering plate. i had to grind the nozzle so it would steer all the way each way and not bottom out. it has very massive throw to the left (way i turn for a roll or stab) and about stock to the right. its just on how u adjust the steering cable. just make sure it hits the steering stops on the turn plate not the nozzle

so i used polyester resin with the filler to lay them in.. does this look right?

how long does it take to set up?

once it sets up, can i grind down the overlap on the rear of the footholds?
