What advantage would a vertical reed have over horizontal? Looks like the footholds are way below the pump tunnel on the hull, very cool.

as to be the extreme throttle spring

I broke the return spring on my Mikuni 44. I was told by everyone that I couldn't buy a spring, that I would have to buy a new carb. That's how I met Tom21 actually, he gave me one and got me back on the water.

It's really nice to know there is a replacement option available.

Google translation for the vertical reed crankcase:
It is the crank case by casting process in pursuit of ultimate. The direct air intake, engine power is 30% UP compared with conventional!
(From our development data)
Strength since it has UP as never genuine artefact you use the putty traditional, durable
Is distinguished, too. 12mm/13mm/14mm straw car from STD stroke
And to adapt to, you can use it in bolt-on with no processing.

Crank has tapered section on counterweight section opposite the crankpin, guess it helps gas flow. Counterweights look bolted on with countersunk bolts.

Any one know where to get into contact with BUN or a BUN rep? Have been trying to do so since last summer! Tried direct to BUN through all of their emails and also tried a few "BUN distributors" and no response.......

Anyone ever get the feeling that the wabazun is probably the best flat water hull. Even tho it seems to be impossible to get in north america.

Im suprised they gained 30% with a vertical reed. Most people went away from this design years ago. Most modern cases will have the reed horizontal and firing over top of the crankshaft, these are firing straight into the crankshaft. The cylinder looks good nice to see a few people are pushing ahead with cylinder development.

We also heard that the flow guard would add 3 feet of vert

i think their hull weighed like 70lbs. they weigh 125lbs. their 14mm stroker crank and a 98.4mm bore puts them at around 1250cc's. so... say 270 for a complete ski. and a 125lb (exaggeration) rider. theres probably not much you have to do to get 3 more ft of vert lol. didnt they have a 20mil stroker or something too?
