BUN pipe. What’s with the water routing?

This one has me wanting to hear more, the type 4 thing. What's the deal with that?

Makes the pipe super light weight with very little water jacket and significantly wakes up the pipe on the bottom end doesn’t sign off on top like a B-pipe. Kinda best of everything if there is such a thing.

So it's as simple as cutting off most of the water jacket except the first foot or so, add bung for spray bar in the "wet" portion and bungs for water in and out in the water jacket in the first "dry" section?

That one is more intriguing to me because type 4 pipes can be found relatively lower cost and fit with stock tank and water box.

It looks like the weld line just below bung 1 in the picture is the end of the water jacket, bung 1 is for the spray bar into the wet part of the pipe...if that's all correct it makes sense to me.

I'm not sure why there are two bungs in the water jacket. I was expecting just one for the water out of the water jacket, what is the reason for two next to each other right there?

Ah so it's a tuning thing, you run one or the other, I assume 3 is more low end oriented than 1?

You run them all with msd water injection.

We made the pipe last year to do some testing with and works well. In my opinion I’m getting similar power to the PFP dry pipe but less weight and the nose of ski lighter. I’ve had a few wet pipes and always much preferred the dry PFP.
Not sure how it compares to the Bun pipe but would really like to try one!
