Buying a Ski ridden in salt water

Looking at buying a ski. It has been ridden mostly in salt water, I think. What should I look for damage wise? Or skip it altogether?

Depends on the ski. Figure taking the pump apart most of the bolt heads are going to snap off.

Depends on the previous owner. If he carefully washed and lubed everything after every ride the salt damage would be minimal. In the real world you will have a difficult time finding one thats not garbage.

Pretty "easy".
Look into the pump, is all veins there, are they in OK condition.
Is engine bay somehow nice or is it a dump.
If its not taken care of - it will show and you can walk away.
Most skis in Denmark er mainly salt (some places more salty than others) but it shows who takes care of their skis - and who just rides and puts in the garage.
