Good God I've run into a mess. My throttle and trim on my hurricane C2 carbon with an xmetal billet comp pole weren't easy to pull after I rode it for the first couple of times since purchase. So upon checking my cable routing, let's just say it's a nightmare. The throttle cable had a massive kink in it so big that it broke the sheath and someone put electrical tape over it. So it looks like I'm getting a new throttle cable. What cable are you guys running and where do you route it so it doesn't kink with such a short handpole such as mine?
Also my trim cable comes from the rear where the pump is through it's own nice little tube and then goes up under the engine, right towards the carb and exhaust tube and then down to scoop into the handpole. Does that seem correct?
And one more addition to my cable madness. My steering cable has a lot of free play in it. It's not the fittings that go into the balls on the steering plate and steering nozzle but it's in the cable itself. The cable has a bright red sheath so I'm guessing it's not stock. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the slop or do I need a new cable? What cable do I go with for the aftermarket hull and short handpole?
