Well after two years of bashing, flopping, pancaking and just plain beating on this hood I finally broke it. I even cracked my hull in half this season without hurting the hood until today. I guess a 15 foot backflip that only goes halfway around is bad.

Anyhow I'd like to send it back to you to get repaired. Let me know your address and a price and I'll get it out to you. I think the hood liner will need to be removed to get inside the hood to fix it.

Bruski, you seem to be a good test pilot for products. If you break something ya can't exactly blame the product... The quality and strength of the product is determined by how long it takes you to break it.

I've been more than happy with toms stuff. It's been pretty damn bullet proof and he treats me right. With the way I ride it's a matter of when not if.

It's fixable for sure and I know tom can patch it back up nice for me. I rode another two gallons with no inverted stuff after that failed flip. One way drain was working overtime lol. We had a nice crew out today with big, clean waves.

There are three of his hoods in this photo from today. Two fixed steer hoods and a RN pole ski hood. Couple sets of tubbies too.

Bruce, with the way you ride, you should be happy this thing has lasted so long. Definitely a testament to Tom's products and the strength of his hoods! Hope you get it sorted and back on the water soon!

pretty sure Bruce's motto is, "If you arent breaking stuff then you arent riding hard enough!" lol.
I got the perfect fix for you. lighter and stronger hood. hope you have some touch up paint left.

I love your footholds Tom. First fiberglass project and it was a breeze. Bought them from a member who didn't end up using them. He doesn't know what he is missing :(.
