Super Jet can a flow control valve be used in place of an ECWI?

im interested in this as well. Im on the market for an ecwi for my 750 limited. I was trying to get a grasp on all the components and made a thread on pwctoday, as i was starting the thread i realized a flow control valve and ecwi are opposite. Any update on what you've done. I didn't realize that setting up an ecwi was going to cost like 400 bucks so a 75 dollar substitute would be nice.
There a guy over on pwctoday who apparently sells the nozzle for $20, i haven't contacted him yet though. Did you have any ideas for the nozzle?

The Seadoo water regulator valve works just the opposite of the FCV, it works off of pump pressure, it flows the most water at idle speeds, the higher the pump pressure the less it flows.I have successfully installed them on several Seadoo pipes that were not factory equipped with them with great results, and its adjustable, the red cap on the top adjusts the spring pressure for fine tuning. A used one is probably around $25-30.

WFO Speedracer could you give me a little more info on this. I have a R&D REV2 dry pipe with only water to stinger. All water injection points are blocked off. I would like to try running water to sprayers with a regulator for more low end

X2. Interested who comes up with a cheap alternative. My idea was to use a throttle wheel with an adjustable cam that can be moved on the wheel. As the throttle wheel rotates the cam would come in contact with the switch which would then energize the solenoid. The adj cam on the wheel would allow for fine tuning. All this needs to be made from scratch of course. I have the solenoid already and lathing down a wheel would be simple enough. Micro switches through my job.
