Can anyone identify this blaster pipe

Friend bought a ski with this pipe. He says no markings other than my701b and castco on manifold.

Thanks for any help.

i thought westcoast too but they have two sections for the expansion chamber, this has one solid piece. coffmans i found werent the same. really got us stumped. he needs some bushings / dampners and doesnt know what to order

appreciate the guesses but google shows those as two piece chambers as well. had forgot about them so i very much appreciate the attempts!!

its very odd that there is no brand stamped or any identifying markings. ????

Maybe a Coffman rocket pipe welded together and modified? Same manifold I had on mine in this pic 2 years ago. Just a guess...

Looks like stamped steel/alum construction welded together vs the Cast of the Coffmans. Could also be a one off type design like KHI (Kawasaki Heavy Industries) use to make for the Team skis. Darin Hedlund would make those.

Manifold has a bracket where two dampners mount side by side and mount to a bracket off exp chamber. Brackets are horizontal. Chamber is very light (not thick like cast coffmans)

Depends on what you are after. The dry/semi dry blaster pipes tend to make more upper rpm hp, but are off on the low end. Most would add water injection to make up the bottom end on a non full out race set up. Compression helps, too, but you have to make the decision if you want to run race fuel or not. If you are into surf riding, I'd stick with a B pipe derivative. The dry/semi dry pipes definitely pull harder from 4K on up and usually would gain an additional 250-400rpm up top.

I am thinking as a poor mans wet pfp on my freestyle ski. coffman/watcon sprayer right after the coupler.

Sorry, this is off topic, but do you know what the history is on your pipe? It looks like the Hedlund cone pipe that the Speedwerx superjet pipes originated from.
I emailed Mrs. Coffman and she said it looks like an old prototype pipe they made. Do you have any pictures of the hedlund?

John Quast at Speedwerx would probably be able to tell you more. The coupler and mounts look a lot more like the Coffman's but the shape is very similar to a Speedwerx expansion chamber (without the outer water jacket).
