Can anyone put a time frame on this OG JetPilot Hydrocross set?

The original owner I bought these from says he thinks he got them around 96ish but he cant recall. He says for sure they were in storage since at least 2001. I got a set of 8, four of each color, and half of them are still in the original packaging. They look pretty sweet!

And when I get serious about sorting out the unit, I know there’s a large envelope containing a load of stickers from the 90’s and early 00’s, also “somewhere”.

I actually refunded the guy... gonna shelf them for a bit. I'm pretty sure I've got the only one in existence still this cherry. Blowsion said way before the 2000s because it was before they made their version. Jet Pilot has not gotten back to me but the guy I bought them from is a former racer from I think he said Michigan... Ill have to ask him his last name and see if anybody raced him. He said to the best of his recollection they were offered to him shortly after he bought his blaster 1 brand new and started racing, so maybe 94-95? He said he specifically remembers the red blasters were not out yet so that was before 96.

I can't say for sure, but judging by the colors and graphic I would bet 1994-1995.

For real though, we need to be using those!!!

Going through my magazines I found this excerpt from a July ‘92 magazine. As you can see, different graphics on bag and bouys.

Still got some magazines to go through. Might yet find something else of interest.

I have no doubt that if these are released again for any reason they will be north of $450. If it's blowsion, $500.

But it to reason.. Jet Pilot stuff has always been great quality and expensive. Ive always been happy with any jet Pilot purchase in the past.
