Super Jet Can both coils go bad at the same time?

My ski ran fine, next day no spark. I have total loss. The led still works, even when I set the brain to timing the light works when I turn the motor over by hand. So I know the pick ups work and the brain seems to be working. But could both coils go bad at the same time? When I'm not even riding it.

Do you have 2 100% separate coils, or one coil that both wires go to? They have done both, that's why I ask.

If the later, it's only one coil and uses the waste spark method, so both spark at the same time, at TDC and at BDC. One wire is the power, one is the ground (sort of, basically it's a spark loop).

If you do have 2 independent coils, I'd start looking at something in common with them, it's unlikely, but not impossible for 2 coils to go out at the same time.

Check your ground to the coils. And by checking, I mean check them out not look at them.
