Dammitall!! I seriously thought I'd be able to go stealth-like on the cookies....

I felt kinda bad because they get so beat up in shipping and really aren't all that great when that happens. But I am NOT dragging my Kitchen-Aide mixer (THE "Snap-On" Tool of choice for any discerning chef) all the way to Florida...no matter how much I luv you guys.

I'll see what I can do, but please be kind - I'm working all weekend on a "while you were out" remodel surprise for a guy friend, and will have to see if I can get into production mode for the cookies. Last year I shipped 23 lbs. of goods to you all....priority mail overnight. Thank GOD for my employee discount!

Can I play the "I just had major surgery" card to get out of this?

Okay - I might have an answer......I mix it all up here (The mixing really IS important - even though I really appreciate "Marthasaki's" fabolouth input) and ship the uncooked dough frozen out (can't spill the secret recipe to Kath...LOL!)

I have a kitchenette too....bake those bad boys up and toss them from the balcony????

I'll figure something out. Appreciate the offers though - seriously. See you all soon...I can't wait and am exceptionally excited/happy to be getting to do something fun - being in the hospital for the holidays sucked bigtime.

Besides, they're actually predicting it'll snow in Sacramento while I'm out there (hasn't done that since 1979!)
