same reason you can buy different shoes, not everyone has the same taste. and your the only flavor for 4k.... and not everyone competes at worlds.

Not trying to discourage you from building a hull.. but it seems like everything now-a-days is a copy of another. Be creative and do what changes you think needs to be done. No ones gonna buy a splashed hull, they'd rather have the original.

There's quite a few inexpensive hulls on the market. The reason why the BOB is the best selling of them is because they're a proven unit. Not saying the others suck, but we've been around longer than the rest, too. We ride BOBs on a almost daily basis, we've won multiple competitions on BOBs, and they're the best bang for the buck as well. You can sell a inexpensive hull... but that doesnt mean people are going to buy it. You've got to put in hundreds of hours of R&D in testing the hull to make it different, just like the rest of us.

Not sure about you, but I've never seen RRP, EME, X-Metal, etc.. looking for measurements of other skis online..

Sorry to be an azz (I am). Hazing for new hull builders or composite guys in general is par for the course around here.
We have a long and tired history with up and coming builders of hulls and other parts and that history has made a lot of the old-timers very grizzled towards this. Because it happens all the time, and it's always disappointing.
Search for Highroller and Goose.

I wish you good luck.
I don't think anyone that dropped several thousand dollars on a hull is going to hand out measurements to it. Maybe get a SJ hull and start modifying it for a plug. The must popular a/m hulls are somewhat SJ based.

getting discouraged is the least of my worries the molds are almost done, i have pallets of materials and drums of resin so theres no turning back now. and your false on the "orginial part" a trinity sxr hull is an exact copy of an sxr and id much rather have one of those over a stock sxr hull. i plan to put in the hours and od what it takes. your hulls are cool, i actually almost bought one but i like projects and after reading and researching i decided to do it.

So if the moulds are done, then why ask for dimensions?

i know most of the guys on this site are just joking around, been around alot of different scenes and jetskiers seem to be one of the coolest groups. but it is frustrating sometimes because i am serious about doing this and making something innovative. i think in a few months as i start to produce and post pictures everyone will have a different view

That's true - come out with some legit product that speaks for itself through rider reviews, and you'll be well on your way. Most new hull builders never make it that far, hence the skepticism.

I completely agree. The superfreak is clearly the best and has cornered the market. Why others continue to build hulls is beyond me...

the freaks are sweet and have awesome reviews, but i wouldnt go that far theres a hull for everyone and everystyle, just depends on your equiptment and budget just trying to throw another in the mix !

I for one would be very interested in buying a new hull from a builder who's done no testing before production. I hope this is in the right font. :pancake:

I'm sure there's a few current builders out there that haven't put their designs through the paces and went straight to production via "testing with investors".

Like it's real difficult to follow the trends of a sloped nose (sorry, rocker), wider & lower tray, with a few inches off the back if you have any compsites skills. I say go for it and see what you end product is... F' the haters and KoolAid drinkers.

I agree, obviously people who are building aftermarket hulls will discourage you, but new ideas is where innovation comes from. Keep us updated
