Can somebody help me decide if this is a good deal

its not bad, good pipe, intake grate, no telling what else, ride for a year then sell it and buy a fully modded rn next year, dont spend a penny on it though or you'll end up like me :Eyecrazy:

I don't think I'd spend much over a grand for a 650 squarenose, no matter how many goodies it has, but that's just me. The mods done to a 1991 ski are almost certain to be old and not really worth much. For instance, you probably couldn't give away that flame arrestor.

There's 1 for sell right now on this forum. $50, I think. We'll see if it sells.

The other thing you gotta keep in mind is the market you're looking in. Where I come from, superjet's are impossible to find and seeing 1 for $1k,somewhat close, after a year of looking is like a dream come true. Desperation was going to lead me to spend as much as $1300 for a stock 650sn.

I would say 1200 to 1300 is a good deal for that. Depends how bad you want it and how far away it is. I am with the doc on this one, I'd grab it up if i wasn't maxed out already.

Nice job on searching before you post!:Banane35:

Oh, and i spent some time down in Telico Plains, TN a few years back, there was a really cool old book store that i got a ton of sweet old vintage editions i could never find anywhere else. I think i bought 12 books and only paid 5 bucks. We were camping out somewhere near there....ball river falls i think. Beautiful place, a great alternative to the crowds of the smokey mtns.

Welcome to the site!

looks like a good learner boat..

the pipe has been repainted and it needs some new hoses, fuel filter and a new f/a....and plastics

but its got some solid parts...even though its a 650 Bpipe it's still worth 450 bucks or so..

its priced at about what its worth (assuming it runs well0

Well, just think of it this way... If you buy it... all your going to do is ride it to learn, then move on to bigger and better things. I think if you pick it up for 1300$ you have your self a deal, your happy... your out on the water. Thats priceless. Then don't put a dime into it besides gas, then re sell it next year for 1300$, and move on to something nicer and with more mods.
