There is no such thing as sniping.

Just bid the max you're willing to pay. If someone is willing to pay more, how does it matter when they bid?

That being said, I will bid it if you want.

actually sniping is very effective, unless of course you simply get outbid.

lots of folks still bid manually near the end though, and you can beat them with a good sniper.

It's proxy bidding. If I bid $92 on the latch, you can bid with three days left or three nanoseconds left and you'll still get outbid.

Because . . . drum roll . . . there's no such thing as sniping.

By using esnipe you end up paying less because it does not give other people the chance to reconsider there max they want to pay.It is basically the same as watching the item and bidding at the last moment. It saves you from having to sit and watch it.
Thanks for the offer Shonuff but I only had an hour left at the time of posting.
I usually cath them earlier and email the seller and he lifts the restrictions once he knows I use paypal and ship to the U.S.
I am going to try to open a new account as if i am U.S. if possible. I have U.S. bank and mailing address.

there is such a thing,

You are making too many assumptions,
1) that your $92 bid is more than im willing to pay ( great, that works in my favor)

2) that there are no other bidders, great, that works in my favor too

3) that everyone else has proxy bid also, even better, then all the proxies are likely maxed out!

it works, wen certain conditions are met, its been my experience that lots of folks STILL wait until the last minute or two and bid by hand ( not proxy)

the sniper will often outbid them, with a bid that they would have surely have outbid, if given the chance.

a snipe at the last second prevents that.
doubt it all you want, but it works.

it still matters.

I might get it cheaper, and I usually do when I use the sniper.

ive won more auctions using it, than I have without.

ive NEVER bid before hand, that just drives the price up unneccesarily.

people who set an initial high bid, and have the attitudeof " well, thats how badly I wanted it"

are fine.

But my attitude is " if I can get it cheaper, i will"

and I usually do.

whatever works for yall though.
Like I rally give a shiet how someone bids on ebay?

Im glad more folks DONT snipe.
