Can this be fixed? Or new pole?

Did this yesterday. Can this be fixed or do I need a whole new pole? Like could I find just that bottom pole mount and re-rivet and strengthen it?

The thing is you'll just break it again no matter how hard you try and repair it. If you can afford it i would buy a AM pole for sure. Loads of good makes out there and can be picked up second hand.

You can buy a billet base and you wont break the base again, may snap the pole though. Cold-fusion makes one, some reason its not on there site right now, They were like $400. But for that kind of coin, i could almost buy an a/c pole.

Damn. Yea I'm with you. If I got to spend that may as well go all the way. Any recommendations for an Alum. Pole for a rnsj? I mostly just freeride and try to look like I know what I'm doin so the rrp seems a bit much To justify for me

get the tigercraft aura pole. way more gooder. comes with a chinpad which prices out the RRP right there alone. they are like 950 for the normal one. and they are already billet not cast.

thats a gnarly break. Normally they just break at the seam of fiberglass and base. I would buy a oem pole, cut to length, build up the pole to the same height of the base and glass over the whole piece so it overlaps 3-4 in on the pole and base. After that you shouldn't have any problems and it will cost half the price of a am pole. Plus it will be buoyant, most if any am poles don't have any foam to displace weight when the ski is upside down... every bit helps.

The company in NZ selling parts has poles for just over 500$ shipped.

Knoxie Products all the way if new is a viable option for you. I just ordered my new pole two days ago, shipping info says it will be here before 6pm July 26th...and this is coming from New Zealand! My stock pole pulled out at the rivets like that but the base was still in good shape, it did this twice to me. I repaired it, used aluminum backing plates inside the glass sleeve to really clamp down on the glass, it lasted about 6 weeks worth of riding at 2 times per week on average. I put it up in storage while I ran an AC pole that was not meant for my ski. I decided to sell the AC, go back to the stocker for the now hoping to get most of this summer out of it...3 rides and pulled out again. I had been contemplating my options all winter and finally decided that buying used burned me the last time as the seller either had no idea what the pole was really for or he was not moving the part quickly enough and lied to make the sale. Either way, it was that experience that made me say nope, no more used, no more questionable condition or specs. The new one I can setup for me, not use what someone else wanted for them and know there is no worries about stressed areas that might be getting tired or worn out. I priced out probably every option available and everything I looked at still would have cost me more than the Knoxie at the end of the day. Certainly we can not all afford to buy new and I fully understand that as I was and still kinda am there right now, in fact if not for the payment on a bunch of work I did to skis recently I would not have had what I needed to buy my Knoxie. But there are times where logic needs to be taken into account and realized that for only what, 250 more? above a used price you can have brand new. For some it is a big deal to spend the extra, but if you can make it work then perhaps opting for new is the easiest and wisest option. Here is the link to the KP pole...

Dude thanks for the reply! I am DEF getting that pole. I ended up getting an AC pole from a guy on here that he had in storage and never put it on anything and gave me a good deal on it just to finish out summer...BUT that Knoxie pole WILL be on my ski this winter! Thanks again.
