Hi
I have a 760 Full ported Engine
Crankcase ist ported also.
48 novis with 135/135 hi/Low
Power Factory pipe
Vforce 2 reeds
Msd total loss
Protec Head
Domes -> dont know
Compression -> dont know
95 Octan

Total loss is installed at 25 degree before tdc, all Other msd Jumper are untouched.

How is the right Way to Tune the Engine.
Anybody got some working msd configs?

Why not check compression?

Also what does your builder recommend?

Who ported the motor, what do they recommend?

Watcon suggests tuning to peak rpm. Do you have a tiny tach or similar device to capture peak rpm?

What is the pop off, and needle and seat in your carbs?

I see part of your problem. I have a 1,000 with 48s and I'm running a 122.5 pilot and 135 main. I'll bet your plugs are dark and wet.. Knowing that pop off is the same on each carb is a good thing to know. Also a power factor pipe wants to rev to hit. If you are over propped it could be loading the engine way too early. Need more info before giving any direction.

Pull the needle and seat and get the number on the end of it, what color is the arm spring? That will give a close guess on pop off pressure. Checking with a tester is the right way to do it. What prop and pump are you running?

Or pull the head off as take a picture of the tops of the pistons. I'd throw out those novis and get a set of 46 full specs. I don't see a 760 having enough signal to make those 48s work right. We just went through the same thing on a 771

If the tops of your pistons are shiny silver you are super rich, if they are black out to the edges it's lean. You are looking for a silver wash on the edges of the piston around the transfer ports. The other thing I don't like about the setup is the power factor pipe. A b pipe would be way easier to tune on that motor. But you can make it work.

if your pistons are black it means its lean you want your pistons to look like the ones Brain posted

tell me why is your sacrificial anode missing?

Rich, and signal strength is fine for Novis 48mm carbs. Call Tim at Novi on Monday and he will set you straight.Jetting between carb builders will be different. Reference my Novis 48's on 865 Stroker 130/150, that's with current booster, we have no idea what Novis booster you are running. OP, you have a lot of high end and high dollar parts and it seems you're playingb a guessing game, is there no one close to help you? You might want to consider professional tuning of the motor package by someone close, maybe Loki or someone. At least you would have a starting point to go by in the future. Careful before you blow it up. Good luck and have fun

Your plugs may say its rich, but that wash is scary. The front cyl seems to have some around the edge. Are the carbs better and differently? Where were the screws on each?

Thanks guys
I got the Problem that iam alone here. I just Started with jetski Last Year. Now i Build my superjet over Winter with some Parts.
Here in Germany, Nobody help u. I Wrote my Problem into German Forum. 7 days without any answer.....

The Anode is Laying next to the Screw. It was loose.

To the Problem. What should i do now ?
Pull srews to get richer? Is something wrong with TL? Or is it just the High and Low Screws are totally wrong? I Started with 135/135 and Both 1,5 Turns Out. And the Result u can see. Iam Going to make pics from every Part, and Open the carbs again.

Can anybody Tell me a starting Point?

Or how i should Start Tuning now?
Like I mentioned before, why not try NOVI? Thats why we buy these carbs,for customer service. He is very helpful and knows a few things about setting up the carbs that he did.
