SXR Can you get hull damage from the ski sitting flat on a trolley/stand/trailer?

Your not gonna hurt it. You could lean it in the corner of your living room like a surf board and it would be fine.

No, but you shoukd repair the chine in picture 3 before that damage goes all the way through.

It is better to put the ski on two bunks versus a flat surface because if you look at the bottom.of your sxr you will notice that the lowest points of the ski in the rear are the intake grate bolts. they thread directly into the aluminum pump. by setting the ski on a flat surface you are basically putting a large amount of downward force on just two m6 socket head bolts threaded into soft aluminum.
I have not had any problems personally with the situation in have described, but I have talked to people who have (mostly during transport in the back of a truck bed with no bunks, one guy broke the pump where the intake grate bolts in).

Could you go a little into detail about what chine is and how to repair it, I've never heard that term before.

The chine runs front to back on the bottom of the ski. They are the low points on either side of the pump. The chine in the 3rd picture looks like it has a big chunk missing out of it under your drain. Its fine for now but when you have some time and epoxy, clean itup and patch it.
