the only issue ive seen be an issue is water backfilling but beyond that as long as theyre properly installed the laydown pipes are actually easier to work around. dual cooling is a standard on every ski. with proper supplied filters, sand and debris shouldnt be an issue. the adjuster screws on the factory headpipes clog up and seize pretty easily making the pipe non tunable anymore as well.B pipe is less maintenance. Less likely to fail from sand or debri intrusion. Less likely to leak water into the engine while running. Easier to tune on a smaller engine. Less likely to backfill and hydrolock. Fits better (usually) and is alot easier to keep cool (does not require dual cooling)
Tons of reasons to run a b pipe

That will depend on what waterbox you run. Some are definitely louder than others. I have a jetmaniac box in my ski and it's not very loud. Tdr box is loud for sure.My mane reason to switch is the noise , that is it
