SXR Can you use motorcycle oil in your ski's?

in my opinion, the quality or type of oil used rarely determines how long your motor lasts. I think you could mix engine oil with the gas and it would be something else that caused premature failure. I want to hear how many guys actually rebuild their motors because they are just plain worn out from sooooo many hours of use. lol

used to use belray mc1 in 550's back in early and mid eighties.never had a problem with them.

Amsoil dominator for the win, they specify for pretty much any high output 2 stroke engine, pwc, dirt bike, skidoo...

Amsoil Dominator is not a good oil if your machine is going to be stored over a few month period...it even says so on the bottle. I let my SXR engine sit in my bedroom closet for 5 months and it just about rusted up tight...

I have seen some skis foul plugs quickly when running mc oils, I guess it has to do with the temp the engines operate at.
