Custom/Hybrid Canadian-freestyle, Rage Composites Brawler

many test rides yesterday hopefully the guys will post up their impressions but so far all seems positive

Don't be shy- I would like to hear the good and bad. There is no way to refine a hull without feedback. Even the guys that rode our 2 at the lake erie event feel free to chime in with your thoughts.

Bump for comparison.

Glad to see another company producing a fair priced AM hull. Really curious how the rage and bob 2 compare! Couldn't make it out to Sarnia. Hopefully sooner than later I can meet up for a rip Steve!

I rode a bob 2 this weekend. I could not stay on it. Kept wanting to throw me off. There is no comparison. They are totally different boats to ride. I am biased in my opinion because I have really only been on my hull this year. Maybe a little more time on it and Id have gotten used to it?

Not trying to start anything. Just sharing my opinion based on riding the 2 back to back. I welcome anyone else to do the same and see what they have to say. The bobs I saw in person looked to be very nice build quality. I will admit I did not get to spend very much time on it.

I hear ya, I like your hull and am following it closely for a possible future purpose. I was just saying we have seen the "BOB-wagon" come out anytime a dirogatory remark is made. Good luck with the new carbon layup.

I rode the brawler, aerial 8, bob gen 2, my amp hull, rickter xfr, and my RN this weekend, and I must say the brawler, aerial 8, and the Rickter are my favorites. I have ridden others as well and these are my top 3. The Aerial 8 is an awesome ski, very nimble, and built strong, but I am looking for a ski I can run a full size tank, and not having to pull the motor to get the tank out and its a little high on what I would like to spend on a hull. The Rickter xfr, is an awesome boat. Fit and finish is top notch, ski rides very well, not nose high, unless you'd like it too. That would be my choice of a hull, but my friend has one, so if I want to ride one I'll ride his :). So now to the brawler. When I first hopped on the ski I did not know what to expect, I was surprised. The ski will rip around like a RN, or ride like a competition boat. The ski is light, and strong. The ski was beaten this weekend and the only casualty was the steering and steering cable. The ski was rolled in flat water with the 710 motor and nosed in on a flat water backflip. This is an excellent all around boat, and the Gen 2 Brawler will be my next purchase of a hull, hopefully in the next month. Thanks again guys for letting me rip on your boats this weekend.

And you are right to have an opinion! But some BOB owners get a little upset (ok alot) when anyone starts talking about them.

Looking forward to riding one of your hulls.Maybe at daytona this year! You all are doing a great job!
