Custom/Hybrid Canadian Rocket Build

It snowed here the last couple days and it was -18 degrees celsius with the wind chill today so I don't think it will get wet any time soon unfortunately.

Not yet, that's the only spot I'm taking on any water though. I have to physically push hard on the flap for it to close, truerider411 can attest to that. I'm going to pull my pump in the next couple days to swap impellers and I'm going to see if I can get it to close properly then.

On a side note, I got my new Thrust Pro trim system the other day and installed it!

The trim ring extends further back into the steering nozzle, it basically has an internal flow guard. It made a pretty big difference, I used to get hit in the back by the blow by when I would turn right, but not any more.

Just fixed my scupper....I think. I took it apart and the rubber flap was too big so I trimmed it to fit and it closes on it's own now, we'll see how well it works when I ride it next.

Good luck man! l hope you got it fixed.

The scupper exit. That is really the only thing l don't like about the FR.l like the idea of how Krash drain's water but there is room for improvement on the exit.l can see that there is not a lot of area on the rear end of the hull on that side.l have had the whole scupper out to see whats inside and have thought about cutting the rear end off and redoing it a different way.

l may change that by recessing a scupper at the rear.

Meh, it doesn't take long to wet sand it and re-clear it. I did it mid season last year too. Like you said, I want to protect my investment and keep it looking good as long as possible.

Yeah, I just did gel coat repairs and wet sand/buff on my Foot Rocket so it looks good for the season! Didn't go all out on the bottom, though, just filled in any gouges for the most part...
