Please help can't find diagram for cooling for stock cooling for sj with stock head an pipe but ski has duel passers I want to use so do it split at hose I'm head to pipe hose or hardened info to 860 207 5104 thanks
I believe wamiltons has the diagram. I think it's one into manifold, 2 head outlets, one to water fitting, other to head pipe, headpipe to stinger with a T in-line to other fitting
I have a stock head an stock head with hose coming in from hull to bottom of pipe then from pipe to head an no where else an don't know where else does it go or come from so pissed off rite now
If you have single cooling from the pump you should have a single pisser. Don't dual tap your stock head because its designed for water to flow a certain way because of the hole design in the head gasket. If your hell bent on using both pissers just split the hose that's right at the pisser and feed both pissers. If you tap off another line somewhere in the system , with single cooling from pump , your going to take away preasure from somewhere in the system.
I did this. Insted one line in to bottom of pipe an then from pipe to head then t in that line out the pisser. Does a stock ski not come with pissers cuz this ski was built to the hill before I got it an now I'm running stock motor an stuff so now I have to do it like this till I can buy head an pipe of trade my 04 gsxr 1000 an this ski for a am ski so yeah
you need to balance it so you dont get stagnant water in one area. if you have it exiting the exhaust and the head, more will flow out of the path of lease resistance leaving one to overheat.
most go:
hull to very bottom
head to exhaust
"flush fitting" to pisser.
then just t your flush fitting into the line going to the pisser and hold your finger over the pisser with the motor running and the hose connected to the flush fitting to backwash the exhaust and motor.
this makes the water flow through everything and the hot water goes through the pipe keeping it up to temp which improves your power.
