Haha, you're one of the few people to ever ask me that. How'd you know there was a story? Basically, I had been on a date with this girl, and it didn't work out. I was telling a friend about it, and in conversation made some comment about being vetoed/rejected. Well, since my name is Bill, we thought it was a funny play on words to say that girls shouldn't veto this Bill. My friend later had a shirt made that said "Hi, my name is Bill, don't veto me." And not long thereafter, the username "DontVetoMe" was born!

Lmao na man it's just a fun play on words. I wanted a name that described my obsession about constantly dreaming about jet skiing. I heard about a jet ski video called "jet dreams" and then it hit me. Wet Dreams = dreaming about being on\near the water :)

I figured it was something along those lines, especially considering being on x-h2o and such. Seems like a very fitting name! The "too personal" comment was my failed attempt at humor - unlike your name, my humor is what many would describe as "dry".

Haha no trust me that made me laugh. I get that response a lot. However, there are a surprising amount of people who, like your friends you described, still don't get it even after I explain it. No sense of humor whatsoever. Lol.

Anyway, I think you need to make a bunch of your shirts and sell them on eBay. I'm sure the guy I know named bill would find it hilarious! Every bill in the world should have one of those shirts.

I've learned to accept that too many people are either slow, or don't want to invest the mental energy in figuring out something as "complicated" as our play on words names!

You're right, every Bill should have one! Not a bad idea. Doubt it would be a huge money maker, but could be fun to come up with different "Bill" designs and slogans. Add it to the list of things I tell myself to do one day!
