making the trek from ny at 9pm on thurs...should be there at 3:30am. Will probably be all rested and ready to ride Friday afternoon....whats the protocol with getting my ski of the trailer and onto the beach

There will be ATVs on Saturday and sunday to do transport from a parking lot to the beach. once you get it on the beach on sat morning there will be security on the beach so you wont have to remove it till sunday evening.

we have one jerk off cop that wont care if you didnt know especially if the weather is nice and you are riding out front of the hotels.someone will call and he will show up within your first hour of riding there.we can ride legal before 10am anywhere, but after that its 100yrds out until oct 15th.

Can we ride in the surf say like....after 6pm? I know about flatwater friday, but there is supposed to be some great surf on Friday and i'm gonna be itching to get out there.

Also, can somebody go into a little more detail about what actually happens on friday? Is it just a bunch of people on some nice flatwater riding around? Or are there clinics or something to do (something to do w. the girl...a place to her to sit and watch or drink or whatever)

Flatwater is at First Landing Park off of 64th street. There is a beach for hanging out, ramp for launching, plenty of parking. Last year people were there around 1 and people kept pouring in until 5 or so as they came into town. There is a wake zone right off the beach but there is plenty of room to ride or tune outside of that. There were probably 60+ skis out there last year. Its a good chance to meet up with everybody you only see a couple times a year.

No organized clinics that I know of.
