A wet laydown pipe could potentially flood water back into the rear cylinder depending on a few things happening if new orings didn’t fix the issues.

Are both your front and rear spark plugs looking the same or is the rear wet still?

Surprisingly it was only the rear cylinder that was wet and staying so. I agree on the pipe as a possible issue.

I ran this complete combo in my last hull and never had an issue. I float in the ski with my body weight sinking the tray too. With my new XFR hull, the exhaust hose angles are different and water may be more easily flowing back in.

I've actually started beaching my ski backwards on the scissor stand and blowing it out when I come in. Also starting beach karting it backwards as well to keep all water towards the nose until I can brap the pipe and waterbox clean.

But... water is still getting in?

If you are getting water ingestion no amount of carb or pump tuning is justifiable.

Can you run it dry for a bit to test things out or not possible?

No, I am no longer getting a lot of water in. I have a few more things to try tho.

Actually going to start beaching my ski the old way and see if I find more water. Going to retest my hood seal with paper. Watch things more closely. Seal off the scupper.
