Carb rebuild- will a new diapragm effect jetting? Taper-Bored Carbs

Location

I have new engine coming. so in preparation I have taking the carbs apart to clean and replace worn parts and noticed the diaphragms are stretched(warped looking). Is the replacement to new diaphragms going to affect the jetting. Just wondering cause my ski seems way richer than stock. 145hsj,90lsj hss 2turns,lss 3/4 turn, pop-off 25,
Engine specs stock motor, lightened flywheel, boyensen RAD valves, R&d flame arrestors, Milled head 165, Riva Red Pipe, Msd enhancer, and most importantly, group k taper bored 38's .
I have a jetmaniacs 718 satge 2 ported on the way and I wonder if I should put my carb settings closer to stock and go from there or leave where they are at and tune from there..
Any advise here would be appreciated especially those who have run TAPER bored 38's

When you say it's way rich what does that mean. How does it act. Throttle response? Any gurgling? If everything transitions smoothly. You may start by turning in your hss.

Oh, sorry, let me rephrase.. My settings are "richer" than let's say a non-bored carb. Actually, the ski ran great at that setting.. I was just wondering if changing the diaphragm is going to change the jetting..

Mine look streatched and warped too when I remove the covers, but they work fine..

On settings Does the builder have any jetting specs for your tapper bored carbs ?
