This is after the first test run of a new build ski. After some feedback.
On idle on trailer one carb seems to be dribbling a bit out of main jet. Other carb is fine.
On the water for my first test at random times when letting off throttle motor is running on as though throttle is open a bit. I assume still dropping fuel out of main jet.
The motor was a dasa stock stroke 950. I have fully rebuilt it but now with a 3mm stroker crank to make it a dasa 1000.
CARB setup
duel 46mm mukini (fully rebuilt)
2.5 needle/seat (checked and cleaned twice now)
80 gram spring
130 main jet.
no idea low jet size cannot read it even with magnifier glass
SKI setup
dasa 1000
TNT exhaust.
58mm pump.
xfs hull
On the dasa 950 carbs had a 65gram spring. i changed it to a 80gram spring. I checked popoff pressure. I am thinking of trying a 95gram spring and see how that goes.
