Super Jet Carb T Adjustment Screws

I'd be lost without the x
I'm installing a b-pipe in a few weeks and will have to tune the stock carbs. I'm going to pick up some t-adjustment screws to help me out with this. Will I have any issues with the stock choke getting in the way when I install these adjustment screws? I noticed that right in-front of where the high speed adjuster screw on the bow carb will be installed, is part of the choke mechanism.

Anything I should keep in mind or am I worrying about nothing?

This will be on an 08 SJ.. I haven't removed the tamper proof caps yet.. any advice on a good technique to accomplish that would be great too.

Definitely gives me some ideas on what to do, thanks.. looks like i am going to drill the plugs out.. then cut off the excess plastic shell.. make sense?

It would be much easier to just remove the caps and install the aftermarket crossbar screws. The pic you see here is from an older set of carbs with out the tamper caps. I think you do need to remove the choke plates or the center adjustment screw will hit the crossbar on the later tamper plugs . Removing the chokes should flow even better.

george its def a beneft to remove the choke and install a primer, it improves the air flow through the carb without the restrictive choke plates and is def an advantange to have a primer when you injest small amounts of water (which inevitably happens) to help the ski start back up

also if you ever have an issue with the ski running away a primer is the easiest way to kill the motor when this happens by flooding the motor

Yeah, maybe I will have to do this installation if I can't install the tuning screws with the stock choke.

What is the best kit to use?
