carb timing

Finishing up my first sj build. Its 99% finished. I took it to the launch and ran it on the trailer for 20 min. My question is... I think the carbs are out of sync. Not bad just not perfect. Also the front butterfly is slightly open and the back one looks closed. Is this for idle or just completely off? The manual says nothing on how to time them together. I did some searching on here and came up with nothing. Can someone give me advice or point me in the right direction?
Also this is a dual carb 62t with stock 38's

I found a good trick on here a while back, don't remember who to give credit to.

Count how many turns your idle screw is at.

Take a small drill bit ( I used 1/16) and place the shank between the butterfly and body of the front carb and adjust idle screw so that you can move the drill bit in and out of that space with a touch of resistance.

Now place bit in rear and turn the rear carb adjustment screw until you get that same resistance on the rear carbs butterfly and body.

Now turn back your idle screw to the original setting.

Make sure the bit is centred and parallel with bore when doing this.

easy hold throttle wide open look down carbs at the plates . turn the center screw between the carbs till the plates look like thy open the same then go ride. carb sync on a ski is very different then a inline 4 motorcycle.

back the idle adjuster screw out so that the throttle plate hits the throat. adjust the other throttle plate to also rest on the throat, then open the idle screw back up. thats how you do it. takes 2 seconds. same with throttle shaft couplers
