carbon hood liner bonding

I am trying to glue my carbon Backie chan hood and liner back together. it really likes to crack apart where the two pieces were epoxied together. What is the best stuff to use? people say plexus for hull inserts but this is carbon to carbon bonding. There isn't really room to actually use carbon strips to bond the two. It has been reglued with some sort of 2 part epoxy out of a fancy gun and it didn't hold up. I also beat this ski up pretty good. Should I just use some epoxy resin? I have some in the garage but I think it is too runny to stay in place.

Any suggestions or link to products would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer not buying a $150 gun to apply if possible.

Thanks!

How big is the gap between the 2 pieces and how much surface area is there to be bonded?

404 is much more dense, but if you already have the micro ballons, what do you have to loose just try not to make a mess.

You definitely have to clean the other stuff out and clean up both surfaces the best you can

There really isn't a gap. The two parts sandwich together. Maybe i'll just put the resin in there and see how it stays. You don't think the epoxy resin will stick to the other epoxy? I would have to cut the liner out where it is still attached and grind off all of the old epoxy which doesn't sound fun.
