I enjoyed looking at your build it looks nice. The white color in the engine bay is very cool and makes the ski look super clean. What size motor ace you running I couldn't tell, and what size pump did you decide on? My ROK should be finished up in paint this week, so I will have to be sure to post some pics as I am putting it back together.
I absolutely love the white. It is such a huge improvement over the original finish, looking inside the engine bay is like a well lit showroom floor compared to the old black. The interlux epoxy primer and bilgekote seems to be a great product, holding up good so far.
Nothing fancy going on underneath the hood, I decided to go the budget route as it already felt like a well rounded ski with the stock SXR engine. In fact, a few people are suprised to find it's a Kawi engine. I used the sport port templates; the templates are supposed to raise the exhaust port height, but I decided not to. So I only widened the exhaust port and cut a square cut out in the piston skirt as recommended by the sport port templates.
I either went .25 or .5 over on the piston. It was a little more costly to bore out the sleeve to a larger piston and get 820cc, but i'd have to replace the ADA head with a superbore which would've been more costly. I didn't want to put all my eggs into one basket, but it's still an option.
The pump is OEM Kawi pump with a Skat Trak swirl, I think it is a 13/18. The nozzle was bored out to 81mm?.. Im having a hard time remembering alot of this stuff. I am running a TBM intake grate which hangs super low and aggressive. I have no complaints with hook up and I ride it in the surf. A mag pump maybe helpful for the white wash because thats where I have difficulty.
