Six10 Epoxy from West Marine for pump shoe, good stuff, easy to work with and it's self mixing
Pump alignment was a snap, took one shim on rear nozzle mount
Using stock superjet steering cable hardware for trim cable thru-hull, it's how WDK does it and it worked out.
Still not impressed with the "push" water line fittings using water hose you would find under a sink.

U mean the HD home-owner friendly fittings? Don't trust 'em under sinks, inside walls…wonder how they'll hold up getting jarred around on your boat? Not familiar w/ WDk builds. Are all done this way?

The push lok fittings work just fine jus make sure they not vibrating on anything it will rub thru eventually. Been using the for years in industrial apps

Good Point Wrighteous, that water line is not very durable, the line will be replaced immediately as it enters the hull via 3/8" barb and good water hose.

Supajet, that is a stock Yamaha pump that Skat Trak modified into a 148mm pump.

Motoman3k, I believe that Jeff @WDK uses these types of fittings on all of his new builds. I'm sure there are people on here that know more about that.

I like the push fittings except once there on you can not get them off. What waterbox are you going with. I had a nightmare of a time fitting that. Other then that it may have been the easiest build of my life. I really like these hulls and quality is top notch. Let me know if you have any questions that i can help you with.

The colored collar on the fitting needs to be pushed in and the teeth will release the tubing quite easily.

watrboy33 has a different motor placement from yours. I fit a oem rn waterbox in mine with no issue at all.

Set the engine in to start lining things up, I'm going to have to push midshaft back about 1/4"

Tried several different tanks for fit. The RN tank fit good, but the 550 tank fit better. I'm going to run the 2 gallon Jaz for now.
