I think Fletch is right, unless you have a source, it might be tough to get.

That is my understanding as well.

I wouldnt even worry about the saving weight part so much as it being shorter in height, and having a good breather setup. Just use glass and epoxy. The cost would then be fairly cheap, and you could sell them at a good price and make a few bucks in the pocess. my 2 cent

I noticed they are sell pseudo carbon on some of the sites but they did advertise there is some available.

It is labeled uncertified so it isn't something the gov't will use.

I got two yards off of ebay around christmas time... $37/yard, 3K twill.

Was going to cover my 'legdragger' mod hood with it, but ended up using little pieces of it here and there.

the carbon shortage is a pain in the arse we can only get a real course weave off carbon here at the mo . this is the only carbon we can get at the mo , it is a back cover for a hx sea poo that i made last week
