CarbonCorban's HPE powered RIP Build

It all started about December 2015 when I decided I needed to upgrade my 2010 BOB hull (hull is currently for sale), and when I got involved in all the details, I ultimately decided that all these new parts should go into a new hull. I'd like to thank everyone on here who has helped answer my dumb questions and just provided feedback, I am sure there will be MANY more to come.

Waterdawg Kustomz - Full Carbon RIP hull

I spoke several times with Jeff (@Waterdawg Kustomz), and decided to run with the RIP. Seems to be getting good reviews, and has some simillarities to the BOB hull. Living in Albuquerque, NM, I don't have a pool of skis to try, and in fact, I am really the only one I know that has an A/M hull at all. Jeff's been great to deal with, easy to contact, and is currently working on my RIP hull. I decided to run with the WDK steering setup and his modified intake grate to try to get as much performance as possible. Also, he hooked me up with a good Solas Mag Pump with 10/16 hooker which is exactly what I wanted.

A lot of you will question why I went with Full Carbon, and besides it being COOL :), Albuquerque and the lakes I go to are very high elevation (almost a mile high). I will lose a good amount of power just because of the elevation, so I figured any lighter I can make the ski anywhere will help with the loss of power.

I actually ordered this motor before deciding on the hull. I was originally just going to upgrade the BOB with this motor, and @holeshot has been extremely awesome. My new motor not only looks amazing, but his feedback, support, and responsiveness have been excellent. He definitely takes pride in his work, and it shows. A very cost effective way to get good power. I obviously haven't installed or ridden the motor yet, but extremely happy with HPE to this point.

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. @holeshot recommended me going with a 10/16 hooker for the new motor, and I wanted a Solas Mag Pump, but wasn't sure I was going to get one until #waterdawg kustomz found me a good set. Looks pretty clean to me.

Spoke with @LimitedSlip7 through PM, and he is excellent at responding. Discussed options of the 4.7g or 3.3g, and decided to run with this one for now. If for some reason, I start running out of gas, I will switch, but I never filled my BOB up all the way anyway, so I think this will be fine.

Other items:
RRP Cast Pole
WDK Steering
WDK modified intake grate
GP800 trim
Limited B-Pipe
MSD Enhancer
Lightened Flywheel

I'll keep updating this thread as I get more parts and pics.

Thanks to @waksk8 who hooked me up with a set of OEM Dual 44s and intake with carbon tech reeds. They look pretty clean and were on a fresh rebuild. I will be rejetting to #holeshot 's recommendations which will be Low: 115 and High: 122.5 with 65g spring, 1.5 needles and seat. I also ordered the Watcon high/low adjusters which I will install as well.

Went through my OEM 44 carbs this weekend, added the new Holeshot recommended jets and spring, and added the Watcon T adjusters. Everything looks good.

Also purchased several parts from quality members on the X including new V Force 2 Reeds, OCD Solutions bilge parts, OEM flame arrestors, and a flywheel cover which I am going to have powder coated.

Also, dropped off my B-pipe, manifold, intake, and others for powder coating which should be done this week.

Did you compare the new low speed adjusters to the original ones? We have never seen any low speed T handle adjusters which fit the OEM dual 44s properly with the same profiles on the adjusters.

Do you mean the profile into the Carb? I did not pay close attention but will check this weekend when I test popoff. I got these from Watcon direct so I hope they work as they weren't cheap.

Yes. As far as I know, Watcon does make any, and sells the JetWorks ones for 04-up SJ carbs. The HS adjuster has same thread pattern and profile but low speed is different.
