Turfed my Limited Slip tank today with my little helper. Battery tray is nice a snug, also did the bottom and pipe side.

Also decided to turf my waterbox with some turf scraps which spent all its days in the bob without it. Isn't pretty but functional. It fits pretty snug in the front of the RIP, but I have mocked things up about 10 times now and I think it will fit.

Update on the build. Getting closer to done now.

Epoxied the ebox bracket which is rock solid, and looks like it will perfectly.

Epoxied my inserts and the Limited Slip Carbon Fiber stops where I like them. Straps hold the tank very solid. Had to put a knot in 3 out of 4 straps.

No shims whatsoever on the motor, and engagement and alignment seem very good.

WDK Exhaust.jpg IMG_3114.jpg IMG_3123.jpg IMG_3124.jpg
WDK Exhaust looks amazing. The Billet manifold is the prettiest thing, and seems to fit really well. The RIP specific waterbox makes great use of the space behind the right rear motor mount. Turfed the sides and bottom of the waterbox as well.

Mockup_1.jpg Mockup_2.jpg
These are my mockups with most of the major components installed. Everything seems to fit well, tight but well. Still lots to do, but hope to have her starting and running this upcoming weekend. Then on to tuning and such.

I bet its fun getting that pipe set up in there

Actually the pipe fits great, but cutting down the yoga block to set up under it was the struggle. I had to create a wedge that would contour to the rise of the nose under the pipe in the front of the RIP. I plan to take a picture of it to post. It probably took me two hours of cutting a little here and there until I felt like it held the pipe up well and was able to strap it down nice a tight. The pic below is what I finally got. It kept the coupler between manifold and chamber flush and straight. I had to pull hard on the strap to get it around the chamber, so the chamber is very solid and doesn't move at all. Stinger sits straight towards the waterbox, so there is very little angle in the exhaust. I think it will work very well.

Is that just one strap looped around and hooked? Might want to change that so it pulls the pipe straight "down".

It is very tight this way, I couldn't wiggle it at all. However, do you think it would be better to put another insert in the nose and go up and over it?
It's always good to have more support. You could use one of your tank hooks and use it for both a tank strap and a pipe strap, and then hook it to your dedicated chamber insert up front. But adding an extra insert wouldn't be a bad idea either.

@Waterdawg Kustomz - Installed WDK custom RRP intake grate, Solas 144 Mag pump with Hooker 10/16 and GP800 trim system. Just playing with the trim system I can already tell it will work one million times better than the CATS trim I had on my BOB. It is very smooth and WDK installed a reset spring that makes it pop back down right away. Can't wait to get it on the water.

Can you post a pic of how the trim cable is hooked to the trim ring?

If you haven't already polish the pipe with a buffer. They polish up nice.

I did 2 straps over pipe and 1 over waterbox.

I thought the hardest part of my rip build was getting the clamps on behind the waterbox being that it is such a perfect fit with the wdk pipe/waterbox.

It's looking good! You will be on the water on no time.

Anyone have a recommendation for a fuel bottle that you could attach some 1/4" fuel line to that you could then use on the primers on the carb for the initial start up? Does that make any sense LOL?

Like, initial start up? To prime the system from nothing? If so, blow into your tank vent to pressurize the system, then hold the start and stop button at the same time to get the fuel into your carbs. Shouldn't take long at all, then fire her up.
