Im pretty sure that there is a trailer thread on here somewhere with pics? But can some of you guys throw up pics of your bunks and how they are set up please.

Im about to redo a trailer and need some ideas. Its setup for two couches right now. I am hoping to be able to fit a Blaster, my round nose and my chan all on it with out them touching each other.

You should be able to do that, just make the center ski higher or lower to clear the rails of the other two ski's.

Just so happens there's no ski's on my trailer, very rare for this time of year lol. This was a single couch trailer.

Hammered Tee nuts into the back side of the wood and used SS 1/4" bolts to hold the PVC in place

Here is mine. No screws required. I want to angle the ends to make it a little easier to load and unload. Also want to carpet the pvc to keep my skis from getting tore up more than needed. Lol

I went with aluminum tubes covered in HDPE tubing. It's softer than PVC and doesn't mark the hull. Any debris that's stuck to it still will but that's no different than carpet or PVC anyways.

They use it for installing utility wires along the roadsides. They did a huge fiberoptic install along my route to work and I picked up hundreds of feet of the scrap over a period of a couple weeks. Don't be afraid to stop and ask. It saves them having to run it to the dump.

It comes in a bunch of different colors if you can find it. I am still trying to find some grey or blue stuff.

I have seen tons of that stuff around here, never thought it could be used for anything haha. I have only seen it in orange.

It is not the same at all. It's the stuff you see in huge steel reels being pulled behind utility trucks. Different colors indicate different utilities. Communication is orange, natural gas is yellow, etc

3in pvc. Works real well for me. I put 45s on the end cause ill launch off river banks and areas where I don't get the trailer in the water all the way. So having the 45s and pvc helps me load it a lot easier by myselfimage.jpg

I used galvanized fence post and fabbed some brackets for them. Made them adjustable but never changed them out. Sold the trailer today to someone wanting to haul kayaks. Anyone have any pictures of pwc set ups for a stand up on the front of a double?
