Who has them, surf, and flat water reviews wanted
Have a premium condition SN hull, bored, looking to build a creek boat for next spring.
Do they get a lot of spray over the nose like a richter and others with no from bond line?
I would do front rocker and tubbies. Plus, the slight rear rocker.
Will also cut gunwells shorter and instal foot holds further forward.
Will be a creek boat but will prolly see some surf too.
They look kewl

Carters newer kits now have a built in splash guard , the one I have on my SN was actually made for an RN and no splash guard lip , I made it work anyway by building a new bond rail around the front, I have no ride report since the ski isn't done yet but I really don't see any way water will come over the bow now.

i had a round nose with the carter b kit on it. it was also cut 4 inches shorter in the rear. yes you still get splashed in the face with it but it does handle well in the surf and gives more pop when flipping off boat wakes. i havent ridden a sn with the rocker nose but id imagine it is very close.

thanks for the heads up. I’ve always heard they ride better. All the reports welcome. I’m gonna do it! Just pulled the trigger then was like , hell let’s get some feedback too.
I’m building a creek / free ride boat that will get really beat up , Riding I’m not comfortable doing on my carbon hulls that are later up light for freestyle. But I’m going to take it to surf as well at times.

no feedback huh.
I have hacked it up and getting ready to glue it together. So, i will find out regardless.
Widened tray, adjustable holds. custom front hold , carter B nose, hood and tubbies.
Been fun but I always forget how messy this poop is to do.

I did see a ride report on a Blaster with the front nose kit over at PWCT , I specifically asked about water coming over the nose , he assured me that there was none, it is the newer kit with the built in splash lip.

The rocker nose on mine did not have a splash guard if you want to call it that. Mine was a round nose and I did add my own splash guard which mimicked his gen 2 nose with the built in guard.. it helped a little but you would still take one to the face on occasion. The picture that wfo posted of his looks very clean. If I were to rocker the nose, I'd do something close to that.

Yep it's really not that hard to do , no water is coming over that bow now for sure.
