Super Jet Case sealer questions

the how to assemble a 701 thread shows them putting case sealer
on the top and bottom cases.
The Clymer manual say to put only on one side.
Which do you do?
Also do you put any sealer on the crank seals
or on the circlip for the rear bearing?

i use permatex or yamaha bond. top or bottom doesnt matter and put some on the outside of the crank seal. you dont need alot if u have too much when u torque down the case gasket maker will get in the lower end.

I plan to use some hondabond 4 I got from a local retailer
same stuff, I was told
I guess the trick is to use just enough ; )

I have always put yamabond 4 on both sides of the cases,( very thin layer on each) and never any on the crank seals. and havent had a prob yet .

1211, both sides and none on the seals. no problems yet.

1211 one side only, ensuring both sides are spotlessly clean and free from grease beforehand.
