Cavitation Problems

I have a WDK RIP hull

No intake grate (comes like this)

850 big bore non PV motor

B pipe limited chamber

ATP Flame TL

190 compression

144 skat set back magnum pump

reduction nozzle bored out to 85mm

I have tried a hooker 9/15 and 12/17. 9/15 seems like it hits a bit harder down low, but both props seem to cavitate right when I punch the throttle to go for a flip.

Is it worth going to a 155 for this setup?

Do you have the intake grate stuffer that bolts to the pump shoe where the intake grate bolts up? If you dont it'll suck air from pump area to the pump tunnel.

If you dont run a intake grate u need the piece that bolts to your pump shoe to fill the void where the intake grate goes. If you dont it sucks air into your pump tunnel.

You need the piece that bolts to what is circled in Picture 1. Picture 2 shows the way air is pulled through that section to the pump tunnel if there isn't the piece bolted in. Cant get more straight forward than this...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

WDK SELLS THESE FOR THERE HULLS FOR THIS REASON> HAVE YOU CONTACTED JEFF???? THE GUY YOU BOUGHT THE HULL FROM...............
