I have one on my SJ that I won at the Daytona Freeride :Banane01:

Yeah that's what I've heard. Great if it's just for a surf boat/play boat, but if you're a freestyle rider and you like to do hood tricks and sit on the chinpad then you might be better off with a beefier chinpad.:biggthumpup:

i do hood tricks,sit on the pad ,ect havent had any problems.

What you heard was probably from someone that never mounted it properly. In your hands it does feel brittle but once you mount it (on XMW) and use the bolt to support the center its very solid.

What I did on mine was glue a S.S fender washer underneath where the support bolt would touch.

I might be wrong but I think price was $125!?
