The ski is only shorter in the front by about 3-4 inches , if you imagine where the old superjet nose cone used to finish that is where the pin bolt section is now :) the chines where rounded a little and the front tubbies changed , the rail is also half the size at the front so its stronger for the lawn dart into the sand ... the pump duct has also been widened ...

I see a lot of RN SJ in the rear end...what is the difference in length?

Sweet looking ski! I love the engine compartment!

Looks very clean, stoked to see you ridin it Ross!

Any plans of competing or will it just be for fun?

I don't really have any plans to compete on a serious level if at all. But I've got some photo/video trips in mind that I would really like to do, and that is going to be the focus.

As for what ocdfreeride said...I appreciate the compliments. And I really agree with you, for the kind of riding I want to do, this seems like the perfect boat for me. I'm pretty anxious to get it all together and see how it goes!

I would love to see some destination videos that focus on the freeride lifestyle/culture. Just like my snowboarding hero Travis Rice, who doesnt hardly compete any more but makes the best films in the industry (Art of Flight, Thats It Thats All), there is so much more to show the world than a routine of your best stunts at a competition.

Freaking love the art of flight series. If only Travis rice was into jetskis. For me Jetskiing has been so much more than actually competing or landing any tricks. Try explaining that to anyone else and your words fall on deaf ears.

Just to set the record and help ross answer questions dont want to hijack his thread LOL but the tray is the same size as a SXR , here is a picture of the new carbon Kevlar infused FP1 , it must be noted that my mounts are all infused during the 1 process which means they are sandwhich in the lay up .... most after markets skis are not done this way

I am guessing on saturday Ross had spilled some gas and oil on the tray, saw him go out, come back in, take sand and start scrubbing his tray with sand!!!!!! Been there, Done that!
