Cheap Porting Tool

Anybody know of a reasonably priced 90 deg handpiece that fits it? Nice to have a compact-ish 90 degree for tranfer port work.

I've gotten away with a super cheap small 90 deg air die grinder for the little bit that I've done but upgrading to one of these would be nice.

Thanks for this thread! I was googling the same stuff recently as I need to do a bit of port shaping. Keep us posted on quality!

FWIW, the harbor freight tool also takes Foredom attachments, is super cheap and has been going strong for me for 10 years now.

Just stumbled back on this thread... I've been using one of these cheap motors for a while now. also have that exact 90 degree head pictured above. Both work reasonably well. The shaft gets hot near the head so its definitely not the best quality but the price is definitely right. What are y'all using for porting tools? I've been doing a lot of case work lately and hogging out material with a rough carbide bur is easy but leaves a very rough finish. Those little flapper sandpaper wheel things kinda suck. Whats the best tool for a medium rough finish? Just a less aggressive carbide bur?

I bought one of these Vevor tools for porting. On the first port job I did with it, the flex shaft broke internally. I was really disappointed as it was doing a nice job.
