we rode the spot on sunday....there was a dude riding a new white/red 3D in blaster mode..to top it off he had on an orange style around the neck PFD.
now that is some funny ********.

He was there Friday too; I hate to think that's his new riding spot.

I'm going to head south if that's the case, the surf nice in front of shell island too.

I actually read the article (speak the language)... it is really an attempt to convert a sport class PWC to a ski class PWC for racing (loose rules) for those who can't afford two skis or for the stand-up beginners.
Bad attempt IMO, but still a lot better than the 3-D...

I beg to differ. I can sit in my tray with one leg on each side of the hood.

Here are some pics of mine,it is far from finished because there is aridiculous amount of glass work involved,but it is coming along nicely andit will not have a seat of any kind.I will be running either a 701 or 760 engine.

cool idea, but I can't understand why he put the heaviest pole ever on it. Looks like a 650sx pole; those things are like holding up a cinderblock.
I like the no seat idea, but I would have also left the fixed steering. Wonder where he's got the battery?

if he has a raider waterbox, he might have the battery in the stock waterbox location. :dunno:

This is the first time I have seen anything that resembles a 3D and the first time I've seen someone else say that something resembles a 3D.:dunno:

Trust me the 3D is in a class of it's own and nothing else out there is as GAY as the 3D is.
As far as this ski goes it resembles a 3D because it has a very big tray area to stand on and a handlepole on a ski that clearly is meant to be have a seat and fixed steering.

This is still BY FAR better than a 3D. This ski would still actually take some skill to ride because it's still a blaster hull and not an XPL hull like the 3D.

I'm not trying to call you out. It's just that I really don't see anyone ever comparing anything to the 3D.:biggthumpup:

There is somebody out there looking at the pic of your ski saying how GAY it is............ Yes, its your opinion, but why do we need the constant negativity......... some people actually like them...........
