Flores had his SXR w/an 1100 in it out at the races in Dallas this past weekend. All I can say is holy hell it was awesome and Rob could ride the hell out of it. I would guess it did 60+ easy, and it sounded like a race car...

Special, that FX1 would be sick with the tripple in it! Sorry I sold that ZXi hull I had a year or so ago. that you wanted the motor mounts from.

It probably didn't handle very well. No way I'd be on an SXI hull at 60mph!
The ski on Ebay looks like a very professional install but I doubt anybody will pay $3,000 for it.

that would be nuts. i've fallen off my ski going at least 30 and it SUCKED. no way would i try 60. but it would be sweet to go out on the lake and go smoke the big coucherss on lol

One of the local riders here has an sxi with the 1100 in it. Doesn't seem to bad, right around 60mph with the motor stock. No waterbox, obnoxious loud, but looks fun.

Yeah, we've been giving him and trying to get a water box or something in it to quiet it. He has a plan to get the sound less obnoxious though.

ZXI engines are simple to put in a SXI or SXR hull. I gave a friend a hand putting a Ultra 150 engine in a SXI pro carbon hull. Now that was a difficult job. Of coarse he already had a SXI with the ZXI motor( pretty fast), a blaster with a 1100 tripple(still not fast), and a SXI with a SD800, too (I've done 60 on it, and it could go faster)
