checking reeds

Im pulling my motor to put my stocker flywheel back on to see if it will alleviate my ski problems...

while i am at it, i am gonna check my reeds to make sure they are not part of my issue...

ive never checked reeds before, and im running aftermarket reeds, so i want to know what i should be looking for...

bent petals? cracks in the reed? or will "bad reeds" be totally obvious?

look at the ends for fraying, chips or holes.

RAD aluminum for 750SX...

as explained in a previous post, im getting fuel, spark and compression...but it wont start...so im gonna swap back to stock.

make sure the reeds are sealing on the reed cage. after awhile, they start to bend and you need to flip them over. but don't do that more than once. buy some carbon fiber reeds.

thx man, im rocking v force delta 2's, may need to replace em.
