choice of 2 couches

My friend has had both and in a weak moment he convinced me to ride them, didnt have much interest in the engines but the riding experience was as follows, just another perpective

RXP 215 HP squirly fast, gets too much air at High speed, bouncy, great hole shot, fast turns
GP slow out of Hole, nice mid and high top end no air, little bit tanker feeling in turns, not as squirly

Good luck with your choice

I work on these for a living, the Seadoo 4 TECS at leasts the 130 and 155 hp models give very few problems especially when compared to a Yamaha power valve engine,
I have yet to repair one of the power valve engines that had more than 80 hrs on the clock before it puked . As it stands now I have seven Yamaha motor jobs on the lot, two had oil lines come off, three had power valves drop, two were due to water ingestion .
I have two Seadoo 951s that are dead , one due to water ingestion the other due to stopped up carbs, one Seadoo 720 that died because he put too hot of spark plug in it and holed the piston and one dead Kawi 750 motor that died due to an air leak.

Your friend will be taking a HUGE step backwards getting that 155HP RXP.
That hull takes a lot of power to get any decent speed out of it and the 155HP model just doesn't have it.
The GPR is a great couch and with just a few mods (under $500) can run 70MPH all day every day.
