Looked like his backie was higher than JK's too. Anyone remember that race when he launched his SXi Pro at full throtle off a wave and went into the stratusphere? Same thing with an 800 X2 on the flick "In the blood".

Mac lives here in town and I see him around all the time. I would have to say out of all the top Pro racers I've met he is the coolest.

No hype, no BS, just a quiet, well mannered person that is on your level. He doesn't parade around like some Rock star with his nose in the air and thinks his sh dont stink like some other Pro's around ...lol

He has a sense of telling when a fan would like to meet him in person and he will actually walk up to you and introduce himself and start talking to you.

Its great when I see him around, he actually remembers my name!
I think that is cool.

I have that issue of pwc illustrated, they were on the cover doing that double backie. the next issue was eric malone doing a backie on the cover by himself.
