Cir clip sizes?

Any one know if cir clips are interchangeable between brands? Like would oem clips work in pro-x or other way around? Trying to get a motor together by the weekend and all I have is oem Kawi450 clips to put in pro-x Yamaha 82mm, are clips just a generic size? The Kawi clips match up to the pro-x ones just trying to find out if I'm making a big mistake or not and I'm having serious doubts

Same clips are used for multiple applications but each brand has there own size of groove that is cut for clip to rest in, that's why they don't interchange, just a fraction off and they can pop out. That's what I just told, guess ill wait till next week

most brands use different sizes and sometimes shape so a big NONO.
