clear over gelcoat?

Jesus, its not rocket surgery..

I have some shower wall samples(chopper gun glass/white gel coat), I'll go DA one with 220 and clear it with 2 coats of PPG Omni urethane clear, then you tell me if there are any scratch/sand marks that you can see through the clear on the gel coat underneath or in the texture of the clear on top...

Well duh if you spray enough clear it will cover up 40 grit sanding marks.It might look like one of those epoxy covered cypress knees though.I say we meet at high noon ,paint guns drawn and shoot it out.:hitwithrock:
